Furman runner Gabbi Jennings will compete in the 3,000m Steeplechase as a member of Team USA’s U23 world team at the 2019 North American, Central American, and Caribbean Athletics Association (NACAC) Championships, which will be held July 5-7 in Queretaro, Mexico.

The year marks the 10th anniversary of the NACAC U23 Championships and will be the first for the U18 age category. The 2019 NACAC U18/U23 Championships will feature athletes from 31 different countries across the NACAC region.

An All-American in the steeplechase event, Jennings qualified for the meet after placing ninth with a time of 9:58.83 at the NCAA Championships earlier in June.
