Changing the focus

Every other Wednesday afternoon, the Furman cross-country team gathers for a different type of practice. The distance runners visit the Greenville Health System Children’s Hospital to spend time with kids who are receiving treatment in the intensive care unit. The team’s most recent visit took place on November 14, just a few days before the runners raced the NCAA Cross Country Championships on Saturday in Madison, Wisconsin. Read more in Runner’s World.
