If you’d like to spend some time hanging out with Furman athletes and coaches and then catch a Greenville Drive game at Fluor Field in downtown Greenville right after that, you have your chance this weekend.

Furman Fan Fest presented by Mast General Store, Ingles and UFC Gym will take place Saturday, Aug. 18, from 5:30-7 p.m. at Fluor Field.  The Drive game with the Hickory Crawdads will take place at 7:05 p.m.

Fan Fest offers fans the opportunity to get the official 2018 Furman football poster and have it autographed by the team. Fans can also take photos with their favorite Paladin players, as well as head football coach Clay Hendrix.

Other Furman athletic teams will also be on hand along with the Paladin cheerleaders, Sir Paladin and Dan Scott, the “Voice of the Paladins.” Younger Paladins fans can also enjoy the “Kids Zone,” which is new to this year’s event.

Fans in attendance will have the opportunity to win exclusive prizes, including tickets to the Furman football opener at Clemson on Sept. 1.

Discounted $8 tickets are available for the Furman Fan Fest event, which includes admission to the Greenville Drive-Hickory Crawdads game. For an extra $7, fans can upgrade their ticket and enjoy an “All-You-Can-Eat” tailgate party during the event.

Ticket information can be found at GreenvilleDrive.com/Furman. Fans can also purchase walk-up tickets to both the event and the picnic on Aug. 18 at the Drive ticket office.
