Individual impact

Furman political science graduate Alyssa Richardson ’12 is one of a dozen individuals featured in a Business Officer magazine story about the value of a liberal arts education. Richardson, who graduated Harvard School of Law in 2015, describes how she arrived at Furman and the rich undergraduate opportunities she was exposed to while there–from a Riley Institute internship to serving as a delegate to the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation meeting in 2011. Richardson now clerks for Judge Margaret B. Seymour, United States District Court in South Carolina.
