Alum joins board of new app

Tyler Droll, a 2013 Furman graduate and a co-founder of Yik Yak, has joined the board of directors for Relevnt, an app that connects users with local news sources. Droll co-founded Yik Yak, a social-networking tool, with fellow alum Brooks Buffington ’13. The company shut down operations in April 2017, and both Droll and Buffington have moved on to other projects. Read more in The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
