An entire episode on HGTV, and mentions in Huffington Post, New York Post, and Curbed.com are just some examples of the media outlets fascinated with the work of David Latimer and his New Frontier Tiny Homes. Last week, the 2005 Furman English major and former Paladin football player saw one of his homes showcased on ABC’s Good Morning America. New Frontier was also featured in the November issue of Nashville Arts, which describes Latimer’s circuitous route to his current passion for diminutive homes. Carrington Fox of Nashville Arts writes, “Get Latimer rolling on the writings of Henry David Thoreau, Ralph Waldo Emerson, and David Shi, author of The Simple Life: Plain Living and High Thinking in American Culture, and it becomes immediately clear that he is interested in more than just the bricks and mortar of the twee architectural movement.”
