Music by the Lake recommended by Southern Living

“Look no further for a bargain vacation. Here are 101 activities you can do this summer without having to spend a penny.” According to Southern Living Magazine,  Furman University’s Music by the Lake summer concert series ranks in the top 20 “101 Free Things to Do in the South.”

The 2017 series features the Furman Lakeside Band and guest artists performing a cross-section of big band, jazz, bluegrass, contemporary, marches, and orchestral favorites. All concerts are free and open to the public.
