Making a difference in Africa

Furman alum and Hall of Fame golfer Betsy King ’77 has devoted her post-golf career to building wells for children and families living in extreme poverty in Africa. The work is done through her foundation, Golf Fore Africa, and King stepped up her efforts by personally pledging $1.3 million to the cause as part of the World Water Day celebration on March 22.
