A Paladin at heart

Furman graduate David Trone ’77 received the Carl F. Kohrt Distinguished Alumni Award at the university’s Bell Tower Ball in late February.  Trone, who has served on Furman’s Board of Trustees and is co-owner of Total Wine & More, talked with Upstate Business Journal about leadership, being an entrepreneur, and how Furman prepared him to oversee a business with more than $2.5 billion in sales.
