On Saturday, March 11, Furman and the Southern Association of College Admission Counseling will host a Mini-Camp College that will help guide students through the often confusing process of applying to college. Melissa Cline, Furman’s associate director of admission, and Danielle Staggers, assistant director of the university’s Bridges to a Brighter Future program, wrote an op-ed for The Greenville News about how the event can lessen the anxiety of applying to college, especially for first-generation students.
