100 years later, the Great War’s impact on Greenville is still evident


As the 100-year anniversary of the United States entry into WWI approaches, Furman history professor Courtney Tollison offers a brief account of how South Carolina was involved in the war effort, and the repercussions the Great War spawned. Her piece appears in The Greenville Journal.
