50 Most Influential

Time magazine has its “Person of the Year.” Not to be outdone, Greenville Business Magazine annually publishes its “50 Most Influential.” Making the list this year is Furman University President Dr. Elizabeth Davis who is noted for launching The Furman Advantage, a promise to provide an education that delivers value by preparing students for successful and meaningful lives. The magazine has published the list for two decades. For the past three years, it has named individuals to the 50 Most Influential “Hall of Fame.” Furman Director of Community Relations and State Representative the Honorable Chandra Dillard joins 17 other Hall of Famers. She is lauded for her work with children in the state and her efforts in community development and revitalization. Furman University alum John Castile (Class of 1989), and trustee Mike Riordan also appear among the 50 Most Influential.
