Local Business Taps Talents of Family Members


It takes multiple skills and talents to start a business and keep it running on all cylinders–technical trade expertise, finance and banking, operations, customer service, logistics, human resources expertise, marketing and branding smarts, and the list goes on. Frustrated with the direction of the plumbing franchise world, three members of the Scott Smith family realized they had what it takes to launch their own business. One of the family members, Anja Smith, is a 2014 Furman University Undergraduate Evening Studies Graduate who says, “We believe if you do really good quality work and treat your customers like you care and build a relationship with them, the profits will follow.” Read more in The Greenville News about the family’s business, All Clear Plumbing.
