Transcending Her Role on Campus

Beth Crews’ leadership in adult education transcends her role at Furman. She’s the director of Furman’s Undergraduate Evening Studies program, but she has also been forced to make transitions in life like many of the students she encounters. “Very often, it takes a really difficult situation, one that you would not wish on yourself, to kick people into doing what they know in their heart is in their best interest,” said Crews, who was profiled in The Greenville News.
