Fulfilling the Promise of Education
In June of this year, Furman’s Riley Institute and the university’s Osher Lifelong Learning Center sponsored a three-part series titled “Education for Life: Working Together to Fulfill the Promise of Education.” The program addressed the complex issues facing schools, families and communities, and the ways in which all stakeholders can work together to create educational success.
The three parts of the series were recorded and featured on South Carolina Public Radio’s “Speaking of Schools.”
