Furman University has officially opened the Spinks Field House at the Eugene Stone Soccer Stadium, the final athletics project completed as part of the “Because Furman Matters” fundraising campaign. The 5,300-square foot building contains locker rooms for the men’s and women’s soccer teams, public restrooms, a concession stand, an away team meeting space and a second story viewing deck. The building also houses coaches’ offices and will serve as a meeting place for the teams, their coaches and for recruits.

“This is a huge impact for our campus and it already has and will continue to have a huge impact on our athletes for years to come,” said men’s soccer team head coach Doug Allison.  Read more in the TR Tribune.
