Taking a New Look at Obesity

Furman student Grace Ellen Hanna says obesity is a serious problem that must be addressed. But anti- obesity campaigns, as they are currently being implemented, do not work. In an ideal situation, we would shift our focus off of weight loss and towards overall wellness. Hanna, a freshman Spanish major on the pre- medicine track at Furman, states her argument in an op-ed for The Greenville News.
