Help More Children Walk to School

Furman student Hannah Houck was surprised to learn recently that WalletHub had named Greenville the No. 9 “fattest city” in the country. That also raised a question for the sophomore communication studies major:  How can health in the Greenville area be improved? In an op-ed for The Greenville News, Houck wrote that “we can start by investing in the health of children and promoting walking and biking to school.”
