Riley Institute’s Diversity Leaders reach out to North Charleston High students

School choice sounds like a good thing … until it isn’t. In recent years, two-thirds of students zoned for North Charleston High School have left to attend others schools – a reality that sacks the school’s graduation rate and feeds its “at risk” report card status. Participants in the Riley Institute’s Diversity Leaders Initiative came up with a plan to help those who remain at NCHS get the funds they need to attend a local community college.
