Professor Reed presents research at CDC event
Furman health sciences professor Julian Reed discussed the research from his ongoing study of fitness and cognitive achievement by Legacy Charter School students during a recent event hosted by the Centers for Disease Control and the National Association for Sport and Physical Education.
Dr. Reed’s presentation was part of a live, national webinar on urban physical education and academic success. Under Reed’s supervision, Legacy Charter in Greenville is the only school in South Carolina to provide 45 minutes of daily physical education for each student.
