Smythe interviewed on Fox Carolina
Furman business professor Tom Smythe was interviewed for a news piece on FOX Carolina TV about President Obama’s bus tour to Asheville, N.C., to promote his jobs bill. Smythe said the jobs issue is a “classic Democrat, Republican” debate, where Democrats want the government to put money into the economy, and Republicans would rather cut taxes to prompt businesses to create jobs. He added that it’s the “uncertainty” that keeps financial markets from hiring and adding long-term investments.
