PE is good for brain and brawn
Conventional wisdom tells us that exercise married with good eating habits leads to overall better health. Maybe not so apparent is the impact exercise has on thinking and problem solving. Six years ago, Furman health sciences professor Dr. Julian A. Reed teamed with Legacy Charter School in Greenville on a long-term study of its students to measure the effects of daily physical education classes on physical and cognitive health.
