Women’s Leadership Institute accepting applications

Furman University’s Center for Corporate and Professional Development is accepting applications for the Women’s Leadership Institute (WLI), Class of 2016.

Online applications are due by Nov. 13, 2015. Women who have demonstrated successful leadership, community involvement, and have a desire to help others are encouraged to apply.

Says Victoria Kirby, Director, Center for Corporate and Professional Development, “We live in an increasingly global society and are faced with economic, political and cultural challenges. Now, more than ever, we need inspired leaders—women who can be transformative in business, politics and communities.”

WLI begins Jan. 27, 2016 at Furman University with an evening orientation and kickoff. The conference series includes dynamic guest speakers, corporate education forums, and a professional career assessment to enhance personal leadership styles. The conference concludes April 27 with an evening graduation and dinner.
