Sarah Clanton moves to Music City
2007 Furman graduate Sarah Clanton was still a Furman student when she fell in love with Nashville. After making Greenville her home for many years, the singer/songwriter/cellist followed her heart to the place where she discovered “you can make a good living as a musician.” The communications studies major/music minor returned to Greenville recently to promote her new project, Sarah Clanton. The Greenville Journal covered her inspiration for the EP. More than a year ago, Clanton was also featured in The Cleveland Plain Dealer, which profiled her unique take on rock music and her first CD, Chasin’ a Feeling.
