Julie Stackhouse wins Naples Ironman; Qualifies for Kona World Championships

In January of 2015, Julie Stackhouse ’01 was the overall winner of her first full distance Ironman (2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike, 26.2 mile run) in Naples, FL. She broke the course record by over 40 minutes in a time of 10:17, a qualifying time for the Kona World Championships.

Stackhouse has since gained a team sponsor and races competitively in Jacksonville, FL. A former track runner for Furman, she coaches track and runs her own personal training business, Stackhouse Fitness.
