Jessica Taylor beats the clock on MSNBC

jessica-taylor1Jessica Taylor, a 2007 Furman graduate who serves as campaign editor for The Hill newspaper in Washington, D.C., recently appeared on MSNBC’s Up Against the Clock “Tournament of Champions.” Taylor demonstrated her knowledge of national politics by defeating opponents Luke Russert of NBC and Krystal Ball of MSNBC and advancing to the national championship round of the tournament.

The Hill is one of the country’s top political news sites and widely read Capitol Hill publication. Taylor oversees the newspaper’s 2014 midterm and 2016 presidential coverage, manages a team of political reporters and writes her own weekly column.

Taylor was a political science major at Furman and served as editor of The Paladin, the school newspaper. She has also worked for MSNBC’s “The Daily Rundown with Chuck Todd,” The Rothenberg Political Report, National Journal’s House Race Hotline and POLITICO.
