Furman University’s Younts Conference Center has been voted “Best Place to Say ‘I Do’” in a national event planning magazine.

Unique Venues, based in Edwards, Colo., made the announcement in its winter 2015 issue as part of its first “Best of Awards” edition. The digital and print magazine reaches more than 50,000 meeting and event planners.

Event planners that use Unique Venues for site selection chose Younts Conference Center as the best wedding venue. The Younts facility was cited for its versatility and transparent pricing structure.

Says Younts Conference Center Director Tony McGuirt, “We offer wedding parties a lot of versatility, including the use of the outdoor Heller Terrace and DeSantis Pavilion, Daniel Chapel, numerous scenic locations for photo opportunities, free parking and an inclusive rental fee that offers everything for one flat rate.”

McGuirt, whose team coordinates more than 40 ceremonies and receptions annually, says receptions are entirely private at Younts. “No other events are taking place at the same time, which makes the couple’s celebration even more special and intimate,” he said.
