Dorismond receives NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship

Furman senior volleyball player Christina Dorismond has been awarded a NCAA postgraduate scholarship. The $7,500 academic award is given annually to 87 male and 87 female NCAA athletes nationwide and is divided evenly among the fall, winter, and spring sports.

The Cary, N.C. native was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District Team (District 4) in November, as well as being named first-team All-Southern Conference. She is a three-time SoCon Student-Athlete of the Week, as well as a SoCon Honor Roll member. The chemistry major currently holds a cumulative 3.977 grade point average.
