Furman Symphonic Winds in concert Nov. 15

Furman Symphonic Winds will present its fall concert Friday, Nov. 15 at 8 p.m. in McAlister Auditorium on the Furman University campus.

The concert is open to the public. Tickets are $5 for adults $3 for seniors and students. The concert is part of Furman’s Cultural Life Program.

Conducted by Furman music professor and director of bands Leslie W. Hicken, the program features a consortium premiere performance by nationally acclaimed composer and Greenville native, Jess Langston Turner with assistance from Furman’s flute professor, Cynthia Hopkins. A detailed program follows:
