Furman gets thumbs up from alums
Furman is listed in a new publication that ranks colleges and universities according to the satisfaction of their alumni. The Alumni Factor profiled 177 institutions who received highly positive reviews from their graduates. Furman was ranked 33rd among the 53 liberal arts colleges who made the list and 64th overall.
The Alumni Factor aims to “understand how well a college or university actually develops and shapes its students, and what becomes of them after they graduate.” The rankings are based almost entirely on data and insights from the college alumni themselves.
