Work continues along Poinsett Highway corridor
For a long time, Poinsett Highway has functioned as a thoroughfare that ran between downtown Greenville and Furman and not much else. Now a vision to revitalize the area through a public-private partnership led by Furman, Greenville County and others will change the corridor’s image and how people use it. A front-page article in The Greenville News provided an update on the project that began in the spring with a Furman service day along the highway.
