Wright throws major party in Boston
Graham Wright, a 2000 Furman graduate, is a former MIT Ph.D. candidate in chemistry who dropped out to become a professional opera singer. He also founded the Opus Affair in Boston, a networking group of 3,000 young professionals involved in the arts. The organization recently held a Gatsby-era party that was featured in the Boston Globe.
Wright graduated from Furman with a degree in chemistry, but also studied voice and trombone at the university in addition to being a member of the Furman Singers and Furman Opera Theater. He earned a master’s degree from MIT with a special interest in pharmaceutical research before becoming an opera singer and Special Programs Coordinator at the Museum of Science in Boston.
