GREENVILLE, S.C.—Paintings by Furman University art professor Michael Brodeur have been selected for the 100th edition of “New American Paintings,” a peer-reviewed national publication.

Three images were culled from Brodeur’s “Of Cubic Proportions,” a series of small scale oil paintings on panels and metal point drawings. Brodeur was one of forty artists chosen from an application pool of about 1,000. The honor marks the second time his work has appeared in the publication.

Brodeur came to Furman in 2003 and holds an M.F.A. from Boston University. For more information about “New American Paintings,” go to http://www.newamericanpaintings.com/.
