COMMENCEMENT UPDATE: Lunch on the Lawn moved to the Dining Hall

Due to inclement weather and the forecast for rain, the Lunch on the Lawn scheduled for noon on May 7 on the Roe Art Building lawn will now take place in the Dining Hall.

Furman officials continue to monitor weather conditions. If the possibility of severe weather continues or increases and it becomes necessary to adjust the student march down the mall and/or move the Commencement Ceremony to Timmons Arena, another message will be sent by email and text and posted online. Those messages will include updated information and instructions.

Updates will be provided through Furman’s campus alert systems and posted on the Furman home page. You may also call the university weather hotline at 864-294-3766 for the most up-to-date information.
