Make the Most of your Residential Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n Living with a roommate or in a residence hall is a new experience for many students.\u00a0We encourage you not to rely on social media to get to know your roommate, but to reach out and connect via phone, Zoom, or even in-person!<\/p>\n If you have any questions about your housing assignment, please e-mail the Department of Housing & Residence Life at\u00a0<\/strong>housingandresidencelife@furman.edu<\/strong><\/a>.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n You will receive additional information about New Student Move-In Day and Fall Orientation<\/a> in a few weeks.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Campus Mail Services \u2013 the Print & Post Express<\/strong><\/p>\n The Print & Post Express<\/a>, or P2X, offers mail, print, and copy services for the Furman community.<\/p>\n A mailbox number has been assigned to each student so they can receive mail and packages on campus. Students are able to ship items to Furman prior to your arrival, but we ask that you wait until after <\/em>August 5 to do so.<\/u> When shipping items to Furman, please adhere to the following guidelines:<\/p>\n Please limit temperature sensitive perishable items, such as food deliveries, due to limited refrigeration space. Medicine will take priority, so depending on volume, your item may not be able to be refrigerated during its time at P2X.<\/p>\n Limited carts and hand trucks are available for loan to assist in transporting items to the Trone parking lot but require a signature and personal item to hold. Carts and trucks should not be taken to the residence halls.<\/p>\n For additional information about the P2X\u2019s mail services, including information about how to properly address your mail, please visit their website<\/a>.<\/p>\n Feel free to call the P2X staff at 864-294-2107 or e-mail at P2X@furman.edu<\/a> with any questions.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n Medical and immunization records are past due!<\/strong><\/p>\n If you\u2019ve not yet completed this task, please refer to the Student Health Center website<\/a> for instructions to do so.
