Furman has one of the few programs in the United States that provides funding to students for summer internship and research experiences who would otherwise receive little or no payment.<\/p>\n
To be considered for these fellowships, you must first obtain either a full-time (i.e., 35-40 hours\/week for at least 8 weeks) summer internship with an organization or a research position working with a faculty member at another university\/institute.<\/p>\n

Students must apply to Housing and Residence Life<\/a> and indicate the summer session(s) desired on their housing application.
