Keep these tips in mind:<\/p>\n<p>A resume should:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Emphasize accomplishments.<\/li>\n<li>Use numbers, percentages, frequencies, and volumes when possible.<\/li>\n<li>Use action words.<\/li>\n<li>Be divided into a few logical categories.<\/li>\n<li>List experience in reverse chronological order.<\/li>\n<li>Be selective.<\/li>\n<li>Be error-free.<\/li>\n<li>Provide contact information.<\/li>\n<li>Be visually appealing.<\/li>\n<li>Be no more than one page.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A resume shouldn\u2019t:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Exaggerate your skills or experiences.<\/li>\n<li>List irrelevant coursework\/experience.<\/li>\n<li>Use abbreviations.<\/li>\n<li>Include experience from high school after your first year in college, unless specifically relevant.<\/li>\n<li>Use colored paper, pictures, images or unusual fonts.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Need help with your resume?
