At the Institute for the Advancement of Community Health, we know that health is shaped by much more than clinical care. It\u2019s influenced by where we live, the systems we navigate, the partnerships we build, and the voices that guide our work.<\/p>\n
That\u2019s why we\u2019re excited to introduce a new podcast from IACH: The Community Health Exchange<\/strong>.<\/p>\n The first episode drops Friday, March 13<\/strong>, and we can\u2019t wait to share these conversations with you.<\/p>\n The Community Health Exchange is a podcast that brings together community voices, students, partners, and thought leaders<\/strong> to explore how health takes shape in our communities.<\/p>\n Through thoughtful conversations and real-world stories, each episode examines the connections between learning, lived experience, research, and action. Because improving health requires collaboration across sectors, the podcast highlights the perspectives of people working across healthcare, education, community organizations, research, and public policy.<\/p>\n Episodes in the series will explore community health through four recurring themes.<\/p>\n Listening to lived experience and local leadership is essential to building healthier communities. These episodes highlight the people and perspectives that shape how health shows up in everyday life.<\/p>\n Learning doesn\u2019t stop at the classroom door. These conversations explore how ideas, research, and student learning translate into real-world community impact.<\/p>\n Improving health requires collaboration. These episodes highlight how partnerships across sectors turn shared ideas into meaningful action.<\/p>\n Health is shaped by the systems, environments, and conditions we share. This theme explores the broader structures that influence community well-being.<\/p>\n The first episode, \u201cWelcome to the Community Health Exchange,\u201d<\/strong> will introduce the vision behind the podcast and the role community collaboration plays in shaping health.<\/p>\n New episodes will be released twice each month<\/strong>, featuring conversations with community leaders, students, researchers, and partners working to improve health across the region.<\/p>\n Health doesn\u2019t begin in a clinic, and it doesn\u2019t end there either.
