Walk with the Docs

PMAC Afterschool
PMAC is a free after-school and summer program for elementary children in Greenville, SC - they are in need of students to facilitate their afterschool mentoring program!
Neighborhood Focus
Academic, social-emotional, STEAM enrichment and discipleship programming for vulnerable youth in a bilingual environment, Neighborhood Focus's afterschool program is in need of student tutors!
Men of Distinction
Furman has an on-campus volunteer programs with young men in the Greenville community. Sammy Damesek is program coordinator for this opportunity.
Women of Distinction
Weekly volunteering with young ladies from Greenville County Schools. Amber Jacobsen is coordinator.
Renewal Center
Renewal is a six-month addiction recovery program for women struggling with addiction through Miracle Hill Ministries. Volunteer activities include writing cards, making meals
GVL County Animal Care
Greenville County Animal Care is dedicated to promoting the compassionate treatment of animals in the community through adoption, education, and affordable spay/neuter and veterinary care. Volunteers are needed for dog walking, cleaning, making toys
Camp Spearhead
Camp Spearhead provides a space where children and adults with special needs are able to escape the social isolation they often experience; in this extraordinary place, they are understood, included, appreciated. Volunteers are needed with the weekend program
Duncan Chapel Afterschool
Duncan Chapel Elementary needs volunteers for their afterschool program. There are 75 kids in the program who need help with homework from 2:45-4:00pm. Contact the assistant principle, Danielle Lee, if interested
Adopt a Grandparent!

Julie Valentine Center
The Julie Valentine Center provides support and resources for survivors of sexual assault and abuse. JVC has several opportunities for volunteers including clothing drives, advocacy, child care, office help, and education.
Monaview Elementary
Monaview Elementary School is looking to start a mentor program during the students' lunchtime. This is a once-a-week commitment for an hour or two during lunch. If interested, please email Louisa Brown.
YouthBase
YouthBASE is a unique afterschool and summer program designed to equip K5-2nd grade children with the skills and abilities to overcome Behavioral, Academic, Social and Emotional difficulties so they may succeed at school, home, and in the community.
Junior Achievement
Junior Achievement’s mission is to inspire and prepare young people to succeed. The inspiration piece comes from community volunteers who impact young people’s perceptions about the importance of education, as well as critical life skills.
The Family Effect
