Homecoming 2020 looked and felt very different from all previous years, as COVID-19 changed the way Paladins connected with one another and celebrated the Furman family. While following all health protocols, students enjoyed Athletics’ Purple and White Week scrimmages, a band showcase, the Rollin’ Dins Parade, and DIN it to WIN contests, prizes and games. Meanwhile, Furman alumni, friends and families celebrated Homecoming and Reunion Weekend with online activities during the first-ever Virtual Homecoming #FurmanAtHome, hosted by the Office of Alumni and Parent Engagement. #FurmanAtHome brought a little bit of Furman into our homes – from department happy hours and virtual drop-ins to hosted conversations with faculty and trivia and bingo.
