If you would like to explore how to assess and disseminate findings related to student learning in your classroom, we are happy to assist.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">To get started, we recommend including a <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/furman.app.box.com\/file\/848142293966?s=afntdfm8f94f00qwy7e4lrbk9obehszq\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">consent form<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> in your syllabi or course documents if you&#8217;d like to collect data for research purposes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">New to thinking about the integration of teaching and research\u2014or it\u2019s been a while?\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> This <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/furman.box.com\/s\/tslo2a73kz4k6pycqq139ef3n1aj7ycq\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">worksheet<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> guides you through the process of making student learning visible, crafting the assessment, and sharing what you&#8217;ve learned from the process with others in the field. We are especially keen to engage with you on pedagogical research related to AI.\u00a0 If you would like to be a part of the AI research community on campus, please reach out to <\/span><a href=\"mailto:stephanie.freis@furman.edu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">Stephanie Freis,<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> FDC Associate Director, so she can connect interested faculty and help you build a robust portfolio of data and observations. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">S<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">everal projects that promote faculty\/staff learning and student success include:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Caroline Davis<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">, Visiting Assistant Professor of Theatre Arts, received funding to attend an eight week-long summer seminar entitled \u201cCritical Response Process Fundamentals,\u201d which explored a structured, dialogue-based approach to critique.
