This creative study connected Spanish majors on Study Away in Madrid with their on-campus peers, creating a unique collaborative learning environment that highlights the unique outcomes of The Furman Advantage. The study design involved students conducting ethnographic field observations and cross-cultural reflections in both locations. Results demonstrate significant progress in advanced-level language use and the development of global citizenship skills.
