This series of unfortunate events is the perfect grounds to talk about Universal Design and think about one small tweak we can make to engage our students near the end of the semester.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW42775343 BCX0\">This interactive workshop will introduce the core principles of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW42775343 BCX0\">demonstrate<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW42775343 BCX0\"> practical ways to apply the framework in college classrooms. Participants will explore examples of UDL-informed teaching practices and engage in a guided activity using one of their own course assignments to <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW42775343 BCX0\">identify<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW42775343 BCX0\"> opportunities for increased flexibility, clarity, and accessibility.
