In this session, join Assistant Professor of Psychology Adam Putnam to learn mo<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">re about several learning <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">principles that have emerged from research in cognitive science as well as several persistent myths <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">about the learning process. Participants will walk away with a number of evidence<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">&#8211;<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">based teaching <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">strategies based on the principle<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">s presented and will have time to consider application within their own <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">course or co<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">&#8211;<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">curricular activities.<\/span><\/span><span id=\"page54R_mcid7\"><\/span><span id=\"page54R_mcid8\"><br role=\"presentation\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"page54R_mcid8\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">A virtual option is available for those who would like to join this session remotely.
