You\u2019ll experience living and learning together, so you all will have a mutual understanding that leads to more meaningful relationships. However, you will also have a lot of fun together!<\/p>\n<p>You\u2019ll all live together in a residence hall where you can hang out with your friends as you relax or study together. You&#8217;ll have opportunities to socialize with your classmates over meals hosted by Engaged Living faculty and share common out-of-class experiences through field trips, athletic events, and campus social events.<\/p>\n<p>For the 2023-2024 academic year, Engaged Living: First-Year Experience residents will live in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.furman.edu\/campus-life\/housing-residence-life\/residences\/lakeside-housing\/townes-hall\/\">Townes Hall<\/a>, a suite-style co-ed residence hall.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Your fellow Engaged Living: First-Year Experience residents will become your colleagues and friends.
