The horizontal axis represents “autonomy,” and the vertical axis represents “intensity.” The points of care draw a diagonal line, beginning in the bottom left corner (with low intensity, high autonomy services). The line extends toward the top right corner (toward higher intensity, lower autonomy services). Points of care include self-help programs, single-session therapy, group therapy, brief individual therapy, psychiatry, and community referrals for more intensive treatment. This collaborative model allows students to step up and down the levels of care based on their needs. Most of these services are currently provided through encrypted tel-health platforms.
