- Athlete Mental Health Screening: TCMF and sports medicine/athletics have partnered to help student-athletes access and utilize mental health resources for prevention and ongoing care. Each year, TCMF provides a mental health screening to athletes to identify concerns in their mental health and invite them to seek our services.
- Suicide Prevention Training: TCMF offers QPR online- a suicide prevention program that teaches individuals how to recognize the warning signs of suicide, offer support to those at risk, and connect them to appropriate resources.
- Therapy Dogs: Paws to Unwind: To help students find moments of calm and relaxation, we partner with Upstate Therapy Dogs each semester. Students are invited to take a break from their busy schedules and unwind before exams by enjoying the therapeutic benefits of spending time with friendly, trained therapy dogs.
- Orientation Tabling: Each year, TCMF takes part in orientation by offering information, distributing handouts, and addressing any questions that students and families might have about our services.
- Meet and Greet a Graduate Intern: Meet our graduate student interns, learn about our services, and participate in giveaways at pop up locations during common hour.
- Collaborations with Other Departments: TCMF works with other campus departments to offer trainings and workshops that strengthen collaborative care.
- Start Strong, Finish Strong Events: Wellbeing activities for you to relieve stress and anxiety and to reduce stigma surrounding mental health.
