It is a co-ed residence hall by suite, meaning each room shares a bathroom suite with another room of the same gender.<\/p>\n<p>Built in 1961, Townes\u00a0Hall was remodeled in 2010. The residence hall is named after\u00a0Alexander Townes, a Greenville native who graduated from Furman before the Civil War.<\/p>\n<p>The hall\u00a0is among seven\u00a0residence halls that make up the Clark Murphy\u00a0Housing Complex, which features some of the best views of Furman Lake.<\/p>\n<h2>Features and Amenities<\/h2>\n<p>This residence hall features single,\u00a0double and triple\u00a0rooms.
