Judson Hall is a suite-style hall that primarily houses sophomores located near our spring-fed lake. It is a co-ed residence hall where each room shares a bathroom suite with another room of the same gender.

Built in 1961, Judson Hall was remodeled in 2012. The residence hall is named after Charles and Mary Judson. Charles Judson was the second professor hired by Furman’s trustees when the school moved from Winnsboro to Greenville in 1851, and his sister, Mary, helped him run the Greenville Woman’s College.

The hall is among seven residence halls that make up the Clark Murphy Complex, which features some of the best views of Furman Lake.
