Our campus is home to more than 2,600 undergraduates who reside at Furman as part of the four-year residency requirement.
Our campus housing ranges from community-style residence halls, suite-style residence halls, cabins, and apartment-style living. Engaged Living provides communities where students can explore an academic topic or area of interest with other students.

Most first-year students live in a South Housing residence hall that is centrally located on campus, making it easy to get to know the members of your class and form friendships.
Most sophomores are housed in the Clark Murphy Housing Complex.
Engaged Living provides a unique experience that allows students to live together and study a common area of interest.
North Village is a set of 11 apartment buildings reserved exclusively for upperclassmen. Most seniors and juniors are housed here.
Furman has one of the largest Fraternity and Sorority Life communities in a liberal arts setting. Sophomores have the opportunity to live among their fraternity or sorority community in Clark Murphy.
